If an adventure needs to change, be delayed, or be canceled because it is not in a dog’s best interest, we will always make that call.
Every dog rides with safety at the center of every decision. From the moment your dog is picked up until they are returned home, transportation is treated as part of the adventure—not simply the ride between destinations.
We use the required Groovy Dogs Adventure Harness and thoughtful loading, unloading, and seating routines to help keep every dog secure and comfortable while traveling.
Every adventure is planned with the dogs in our care in mind. We consider the destination, weather, activity level, group dynamics, and each dog’s individual needs before and during every outing.
Sometimes the best adventure is the one we adjust. If conditions change or a dog needs something different that day, we will change the plan.
If something happens during an adventure, we will communicate clearly and promptly using your preferred method whenever possible.
Whether it’s a change in plans, a weather concern, an injury, or simply something we think you should know, we believe you deserve straightforward information about your dog’s day.
Weather can change an adventure quickly, and we will always choose safety over sticking to a schedule.
Heat, storms, poor air quality, dangerous road conditions, or anything else that could affect a dog’s well-being may require us to change the destination, shorten an outing, delay departure, or cancel an adventure entirely.
If we need to make that call, we will communicate with you as soon as we reasonably can.
If your dog becomes ill or is injured while in our care, we will respond based on what is best for your dog in that moment.
We will contact you using your preferred communication method whenever possible. If immediate veterinary care is needed, we will act promptly and keep you informed as circumstances allow.
Your dog’s well-being will always come before the schedule, the destination, or the rest of the day’s plan.
No two dogs experience the world the same way. We pay attention to energy level, comfort, play style, body language, and changing needs throughout the day.
A dog may need more activity, less activity, extra space, a quieter moment, or a different pace. We will always adjust when we believe it is in that dog’s best interest.
Sometimes the safest, kindest choice is to change the plan.
An adventure may be shortened, delayed, rerouted, or canceled if weather, road conditions, a dog’s health, group dynamics, or any other circumstance makes the original plan less appropriate.
We will always choose the decision that puts the dogs first.
